Haroldo Jacobovicz: The Famous Telecommunications Guru
Haroldo Jacobovicz, who founded and chaired several telecommunications firms, has had a career that concentrates on transforming technologies across the globe. Since his early days, Mr. Jacobovicz learned the benefits that entrepreneurship gains from technology. In 1982, while furthering his education, Haroldo collaborated with three of his friends to start a Microsystem firm.
The company collaborated with other businesses to manage their inventory in a better manner. Although Microsystem never lasted long in business, it taught Haroldo Jacobovicz great lessons and brought him to work in the information technology industry in the future. Later, he joined Esso, where he rose to a market analyst and later commercial strategy. He also worked in the financial department in other companies, such as the Brazilian power-generating firm.
From experience Haroldo Jacobovicz acquired over the years, he transforms each company he works in such that they live a positive impact on the people of Brazil. For example, horizon Telecom, one of the companies he owns, is one of the most reputable firms in Brazil. It supplies its customers with a 100% fiber-optic network and the best equipment available in the market.
In 2020, the firm launched Datacenter that specializes in cloud computing services across the country. Haroldo Jacobovicz’s parents were civil engineers in Brazil.
During his earlier years, his parents’ work inspired Haroldo Jacobovicz to join the Federal University of Parana, where he studied civil engineering. While at the university, he developed some interest in information technologies, which drove him to provide today’s services.
Horizons Telecom bought Onda, a company that provides internet services, in 2020. Using the recently launched Datacenter services Horizons provides, he can bring new services to the market that helps society be digitalized.
