Great use of the Photosynth technology; it's visually please, pretty fun, and possible educational! Sounds like a triple play of awesome from where I'm sitting.
I point this synth out for different reasons than a lot of the synths I highlight. I love this synth, because it takes the concept of "...and here's my room/living space/blah" and makes it more interesting. The title of the synth + the bears holding weapons, squaring off across the couch, add just the right touch.
Bryce Canyon is one of the most beautiful places on the planet; this synth captures a lot of the tranquility and serenity that the area invokes. I'm interested in where these photos were taken, as the coverage is good enough for a pretty awesome point cloud.
From the cold and rarefied air, we have this beautiful synth of a pristine environment. It's rare to get photos of this, and even less common for those to be synthed, great work!
I can see my house from up here! Or, I could if I lived anywhere close...but I don't, so all I can do is look at this great synth and dream. It's like being in my very own hot air balloon ride around the world, one synth at a time.
I have no idea what kind of data this is, but it's fun trying to figure it out. I dig some of the weird transitions and all of the pretty colors. This synth shows that not everything has to be photographs to be interesting.
This synth benefits greatly from interesting photography. Shot with an eye toward the highlights, the whole scene glows most pleasingly. The point cloud is also a bit surreal.
Not many events can capture the same pomp and grandeur that a Rocky Horror Picture Show can. Fewer still do it with the sense of the surreal that this production engenders. As pictures invoke memories, synths do it that much better.
This building has an amazing amount of character in it and the photos are beautifully shot. I love the colors and all of the interesting things going on in and around the building. Great scene.
It's great that I can explore this beautiful synth this way. The perspective on top of this building is fun, both by being able to see around the building, but also seeing other people looking from another building. Enjoy.
When I first began seeing synths of places and old buildings I despaired that many of them were more of the same. Not so with Orloj here; I find that the details of the scene, the moving nature of the elements, and the changes in lighting all make for a very interesting synth. Kudos.
Non-english character support notwithstanding; I got a lot of enjoyment from this synth. It's a great mix of panorama with areas of detail interspersed to provide a complete experience. Additionally, hot point cloud :)
At first this synth was pretty ho-hum for me. Then I realized that the exposures were long enough to capture light trails from cars, or whatever is leaving them! Great fun.
